My goal is to create the toughest, most authentic and memorable expeditions possible. All in a single weekend.
In mid-2007 and at age 16, I set off on my first expedition: to walk 600 kilometers across England. That began a lifelong journey of finding increasingly challenging expeditions with scientific, humanitarian or historical goals.
Today we like to talk about ‘adventure travel’ and ‘experiences’ - but almost every tour offers the same comfort, safety and amenities you can find in your own city. I’m not interested in that, at all.
I want to find the most remote, mysterious and secretive places that offer seriously tough challenges to reach—challenges worthy of conquering.
I don’t want it to be easy, but I want to it to be worthy of a story to one day tell your grandkids.
